Getting ready for Kevin and Jenn's E-shoot, we knew it was going to be an unbelievable day. The weather was warm, the sun was shinning, they were a beautiful couple and we had the city as a back drop. What could go wrong, right? Oops, we did not see that "no parking after 4pm" sign!! Yikes!! Kevin and Jenn, you are both troopers. Well, in the end they made it to their tasting on time. The photos came out gorgeous, and we had a blast. We are really looking forward to your fall wedding at the Omni. It is going to be breath taking!! Thanks guys!

Who says you cannot find true love in a bar? As fate would have it our newest couple did just that. Traveling all the way from Virginia can get tiresome, but Alyx and Greg made it, and the E-session turned out beautiful. Thanks for letting us try out some of our new props!! We had so much fun, and the sunshine was worth the wait. We are so excited for your September wedding at the Lake Club. See you there!!!

Well if ever there was a bride who had it all together, it would be Nikki!! This girl knows what she wants. She has every last detail organized and ready to go. I am jumping out of my chair to see what she comes up with. Her taste is impeccable, so the decor is going to be exquisite. Thanks for meeting with us, You and Linda were so much fun. We cannot wait to meet Tony, and the rest of the bridal party. (ALL 28 OF THEM!!!!) We are so excited to get together for your E-session. Thanks and Congrats!!!

Budgeting time for your photographer

You and your photographer(s) will be spending a lot of time together. Out of every vendor you hire for your wedding, the photographer is going to be with you the most. It is important to make sure you communicate well with your photographer and afford them the time they need in order to give you what you hired them to do.
When we shoot weddings that do not have coordinators we will help in constructing a time line of the day with the bride. This enables us to be on the same page as the bride and the rest of the wedding. Its important for us because we then know how to structure our shooting.
Here are some tips every bride should consider:

*Keep the photographer in mind when planning
*Know that extremely low light does affect the photographer
*Go over the time line with the photographer
*Budget enough time to get what you want
*Most importantly, ENJOY THE DAY!

Budgeting time for great pictures is just as important as hiring a great photographer. It doesn’t matter how amazing your photographer is if they dont have any of your time. Get a solid time line down and you will have nothing to worry about! The only thing left to do is have fun at your wedding and cherish the moments.

So what do you get when you put a beautiful girl, a cruise and a German Butcher together??? The most romantic love story ever!! We are so excited to be able to capture the wedding of Dawn Powell to Bjoern Sykulla. Not only is this couple beautiful, but we get to add Pittsburgh as the back drop. Mt. Washington, the Inclines, and Ivory and Pink flowers to offset the black dresses will accent the evening. The photo booth will keep this party going all night long. Bjoern is off the hook with the E-session, but goody, the trash the dress session will be awsome!!! Thanks guys!!!!
